Interests
Not a bad start to the year. I owe it all to you: everyone who comes and watches my page. You help give me encouragement to continue with what I enjoy doing most.

Also, I just wanted to say sorry for the lack of content this month. I'm still trying to break that habit of procrastinating needlessly. But I'm working on Taiga Warfare Page 10, among other things in the pipeline. I might even announce a new project this year.

Thanks again, everyone. Sorry for the short journal entry.

Activity

I've decided to take a short break from Page 10 of Taiga Warfare for a while, but it's not because of procrastination. I feel I need to brush up on my own skills, as the scenes become more complex, poses become more dynamic and the action becomes more intense.

Right now, I'm just doing a few practices and studies with figures, environments and textures. Page 10 is still in development, and is looking at a release window in February.
Since dA has now put in status notifications, I thought I'd give this feature another chance; since others might actually read it now.

I read your deviantID and I have been asking myself... why do you no longer consider yourself Anglican? I seriously do not know much about the Anglican doctrine and so I wonder what could have changed your views. It is okay if you do not want to talk about it. I believe religion is quite a personal thing myself so I understand if you do not want to answer my question.

I had a feeling I would have to explain this to someone sooner or later. But anyway, I left the Anglican Communion for several reasons. The biggest reasons are because over time, I have seen the church slipping away from it's Christian roots, which are values I hold firmly. Another reason is because I have seen the influence and power of the church diminishing over time; which I think is caused but the CoE's clergy making statements which I think are unchristian and are full of appeasement.

However, I'm not abandoning my faith. In fact, it's only been a year since I came back to religion and realised that I don't fit in with the Anglican Communion. After a lot of thought and studying other denominations, I've decided to join the Roman Catholic Church. Since I'm half-catholic, half-protestant, I feel a greater sense of belonging within the Catholic Church. I wasn't forced to go, nor was I brainwashed or anything ridiculous. I went at my own free will, and it's a choice that I feel comfortable with. Though I'm not an official Catholic yet (despite my heritage), I am practicing Catholic traditions and even planning to become baptised in the church. I don't know when I'll be able to join, but hopefully very soon.

So, basically, what you are saying is that there are too many Anglican "Pharisees"? Well, I am glad you are not abandoning your faith because of the clergy and instead you are just developing it in a different way from before.
