Taiga Warfare page 4

After seven months of delay, I've finally managed to push myself and finish this page. Before I start talking about the page, I think I owe each and every one of you a million apologies. I don't like keeping things on hold from other people, so I'll try and work my way around this problem next time.

After hours of travelling from Tallinn (I spelt it right this time), everyone decides to take a small break in a remote town. Some of main characters head into the bus station café, where they buy the limited range of food available, and enjoy the town's bland Soviet architecture; which blocks most of the natural landscape.

Throughout the delay, I learnt a few new shading and lighting tips, as well as perspective and character design.

TRIVIA

The bus has an old Soviet Estonian licence plate.

The painting behind Techie is Morning in a Pine Forest, by Ivan Shishkin and Konstantin Savitsky.

This is the first time Carbonade is used in my works. I'll explain more of it in an upcoming promotional picture.

Windows 8 is infamous for being dysfunctional; both technically and with it's consumer base.
